MUFC Latest Transfer News: Man United Chief Ed Woodward rejected a swap deal for Neymar.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s Man United continue to work hard on transfer targets. The Norwegian manager wants players that fits in Man United culture.
However, when PSG tried to negotiate a swap deal with Man United for Pogba then Ed Woodward refused to accept any deal.
DailyStar revealed the two reasons why Ed Woodward refused to bring Neymar to Old Trafford and let Pogba leave.
Firstly he fears that trying to afford Neymar’s wages could be a financial disaster for the club. He currently earns £900,000 per week at PSG.
Secondly, the club hierarchy are not convinced about selling Pogba as they consider him as the best player of the team.
Meanwhile, Ex-Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has warned Los Blancos that Pogba would be ‘risky and dangerous’ signing.
Looks like Neymar transfer to MUFC news could be only to smooth the return of the Brazilian to Camp Nou.
